History
Situated at Hijuguri, about three kilometres from Tinsukia town, Bosco Bible School, Hijuguri came into being due to the initiative of Mgr. Thomas Menamparambil, Bishop of Dibrugarh. Bosco Bible School was envisioned as a residential youth centre particularly to answer the special missionary needs of Arunachal Pradesh. Bosco Bible School was opened on 3rd July 1983, on the feast of St. Thomas. The new building was completed and blessed on 6th May 1984 by Mgr. Thomas Menamparampil. Bosco Bible School is a residential school meant exclusively for the students of Arunachal Pradesh.

Today
In 2007, there are 126 students with 6 teachers of which 80 students are boarders in the boy’s boarding. Those who come to study in the school are Nocte, Wancho, Lazu, Adi, Khamti, Nishyi, Moshan, Tongsa and Idu.

Catechetical & Biblical instruction & training for Arunachal Students, Pastoral Services, Chaplaincy, Youth Ministry, Proceeding High School.
