PROVINCIAL

Rev. Fr. Jose Kuruvachira leads the province of Dimapur.

As a Salesian Priest he has contributed much for the Congregation as a whole and particularly for Dimapur Province. As an individual he has the command in Italian, English and Malayalam. He also makes his mark as a Doctorate in Philosophy and a Master’s degree in Theology. Religious formation and a well-versed teaching capability are his special areas.

He was the Principal and Dean of Salesian College, Dimapur for several years after which he was called to be a Professor of Indian Philosophy and Eastern Religions at the Salesian Pontifical University (UPS) in Rome. Later he was elected Provincial in the year 2018, as the 7^th Provincial of Dimapur Province.

The Salesians, the members of the Salesian family, the past pupils and the Salesian Cooperators of the Dimapur Province congratulate Rev. Fr. Kuruvachira Jose as being  elected as the seventh provincial of Dimapur.
